About the Role
PSE Consultants is seeking an Entry-Level Surveyor or GIS Survey Assistant to support survey data processing, spatial data collection, mapping, site measurements, asset data capture, and preparation of survey/GIS outputs required for the design of various civil infrastructure projects. The role is suitable for a graduate (BSC), HND holder, or early-career surveyor with practical knowledge of Autodesk Map 3D or ArcGIS and willingness to support engineering design teams. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a technically demanding environment that involves reading manuals, learning software tools, studying maps and drawings, and improving through structured training and independent practice.
Requirements
The candidate should have training or practical exposure in surveying, geomatics, GIS, geography, civil engineering, urban planning, environmental studies, or a related discipline. Knowledge of Autodesk Map 3D or ArcGIS is important. The candidate should be able to assist with field data collection, GPS/GNSS surveys, mapping, preparation of basic drawings, data entry, coordinate handling, and production of maps or spatial datasets for engineering design use. Experience with AutoCAD, QGIS, Total Station, Google Earth, Civil 3D, mobile data collection tools, or engineering survey support would be an advantage. The role requires a person who can learn independently, read technical manuals, follow instructions carefully, maintain accurate records, and support engineers with survey information required for design. The candidate must be willing to improve steadily through training and practical assignments.
